Why CLEAR exists
Most clear aligner education teaches you how to sell cases. We teach you how to control them.
Walk into any clear aligner course and you will hear the same message. Trust the software. Follow the protocol. Submit the case. It works, until it doesn't.
When the molar will not intrude, when the canine refuses to rotate, when the bite opens after refinement, the software cannot tell you why. Only clinical thinking can.
The CLEAR Institute exists because clear aligners are dentistry, not data entry. We teach the biomechanics, the staging logic, and the force control principles that turn a hesitant case submitter into a confident clinician.
Our story
Built by clinicians, for clinicians.
The CLEAR Institute was founded to close a real gap in dental education. Manufacturer training showed dentists how to use the software. Specialist programs were not built for general practice. Almost nothing taught the actual mechanics behind the movement.
We started with in person courses for general dentists who wanted to think clinically about their cases. In 2021, demand pushed us online, and our eLearning platform now reaches dentists across more than 30 countries, in English and French.
Today, CLEAR has trained thousands of general dentists, partnered with major industry players, and become a reference in clear aligner education for clinicians who want depth, not shortcuts.
Four ideas that shape everything we teach.
Aligners are biomechanics, not magic.
Attachments, staging, and aligner geometry are force control tools. Once you see them that way, you stop guessing and start designing.
Improvement, not perfection.
Biology varies. Compliance varies. Meaningful improvement is the real goal, and knowing the difference protects your sanity and your cases.
Finishing is where cases break.
Vertical control, torque expression, occlusion, refinements. This is where most dentists lose confidence. It is where we spend the most time.
Knowledge creates confidence.
Hesitation is rarely a skill problem. It is an understanding problem. Explain the principles, and the confidence follows.
